I have gestational diabetes. I dnt have many foods to eat.i dnt have options for tht.i m not able to eat properly. I m fed up of all these .Plz suggest wht shd I do? Also I m not able to sleep.

Anupama dear, i was on diabetic diet as well,its not difficult if not easy. <br> So here how it goes,eat lots if fresh fruits mainly (guava,pomegranate,strawberries,oranges), try eating fresh veggies like cucmber,carrot,beetroot. You can eat brown rice,multigrain atta chapati,eat curd,chach,nimbu pani. I used to take apple milk shake once a day without sugar,it tastes good ( just peel half apple and grind it with milk,add a few pre soaked almonds,saffron and a pinch of elaichi powder). Eat low fat paneer as snack. There are lots of snack sites which offer diabetic snacks like snackible,qtrove etc. You can search online. Eat besan cheela,moong dal cheela,red poha, multigrain sandwich,oats khichdi,fenugreek (methi) paratha without ghee, onion paratha, paneer paratha, there are so many choices for diabetics, so relax and enjoi ur pregnancy..with all this,please take regular walks for 30 to 40 minutes, do kegels,butterfly exercise.

Eat fruits only not juices. Cut the sugar in tea coffee completely. Eat apple, oranges, mausambi, pomagranate (very imp), guava. Avoid sugary fruits like grapes. No sweets at all. I did all this and got my sugar from 150 to 80-90. Good <u>luck</u>
