The baby will not get a cold because of being fed at the breast. Wash your hands well and often while handling the baby, cover your mouth and nose while sneezing or coughing. Use a tissue paper rather than cloth handkerchief and change after every use. The moms are right your baby will get anti bodies to this particular virus from your milk which is protective. Even if the baby does catch a cold the attack will be milder and recovery will be fast.

take hone remedies , Tulsi tea, warm water with lemon and honey ..it will go..and cold doesn't pass thru breast milk, just be careful while sneezing don't in front of your baby, better wear mask. also nebolize yourself for fast result.and keep safe nursing. frequently wash your hands.

u should take medicine only after consulting with doctor, that too mention u r bf. but u should continue bf the baby... u can also try home remedies such as taking two glass of water, add handful of tulsi leaves, boil it to half amount and have. you can add to this dry ginger, 2 garlic cloves, pepper, cumin seeds and a bit of jaggery...

you should continue bf as baby will get the antibodies from your body through milk. Besides, if you don't bf, the milk supply will go down... mothers must bf even if they have minor illnesses...
