question
I have this weird question. Will they allow us to eat during labour? Coz my mind goes blank if I don't eat. They give enema to clear our bowel and I'm not sure whether they let us eat anything. What food can we eat/ drink during labour?

For normal labour, if it is already more than 3 cms cervicle dilation with increased contractions, enema is given and bowel will be emptied and at this point we dont allow to eat anything other than water.. that to if patient insist..
If the labor is delayed one with no dilation or less than 2 or 3cms, we allow patients have a normal light diet and to have good amount of fluids.. prolonged labor causes dehydration..
If it is c-section then no food no water..
