1. My 4months old demands feed every hourly. The doctor says I should feed at a gap of 3 - 4 hours. Does this mean there is insufficient milk supply and so she is hungry every hour?
2. Even of she is sleepy, she ll cry but not sleep by herself. She wants to be bf to sleep. How do I rectify this habit?

Today, 3 hours after feeding my baby, I was able to pump roughly around 80ml from one side. What does this indicate? I m good going or need some more?

She is a very active child and plays comfortably after every feed. Also her pee n poop count is perfectly normal. I think the milk supply is sufficient yet I will express to confirm the same. <br>
Thank you all! :)

1. if the milk supply is not sufficient baby will not be satisfied after feeds . every baby's metabolism is different and there is no set pattern . do not worry if everything else is fine.
2. this habit will take time and will gradually go when solids are started and baby starts playing

But like everyone here has said, if; the pee count is good, on demand should be fine

If the pee count is 7-8 times a day then baby is getting enough milk...Dont worry and baby at this age behaves like this. And Ellora has explained this so nicely.
