I know that reading book to pre-schooler & school age children is good & easy, but is very important to read aloud books to babies...???

Of course reading aloud to an infant is very important to connect between synapses & baby's neurons as you read aloud, positively which affects their development..

Reading a book to your new born is one-on-one activity which is very special time to you both.As soon as your baby turns to 3 months, start to introduce some interesting books by narrating the stories with some contrast & bright toys.
This will help in their eye & finger contact development.
At this age,I would suggest to introduce sturdy vinyl or cloth books or board books which has bright & contrast colour which has very attractive contents like shapes, numbers, fruits etc...
