I need some help with my super creative 6 year old. He was always a smart cookie. Off late, he's finding creative ways to get off the radar about things he's supposed to be doing. Though innocent, how do I cut this habit of making up stories in the bud?! He's very smart and perceptive, I need some really convincing ways to in which I can tell him not to make false tales.
PS:- He knows it's wrong.

Manveen ..I have done both of these myself 😂 . on a serious note..let's look into reasons ..for the eating part I used to do such things as my mum used to scold me for bringing anything back home ..I feel eating should not be forced as it makes the child choosy. I feed my son whenever he wants to . about the Hindi class it's the teacher who has to make it interesting ..may be a day before you can just give an idea about what the chap holds good for him .
in general be a good listener to him. he may have a reason behind whatever he is doing. you can get to know that when you talk to him and the best time to do that is when he is about to sleep ..that leaves a positive impact ..hope this helps ..

Then this is something to do with boredom, attention and restrictions I feel. Do he lie only in school or at home? Does his behavior is same at home. Take him out this weekend... just you and baby and spend some quality time and try to talk to him. Let him express about his behavior.

Children usually do things to either to catch attention or they simply emulate what they are seeing in their environment. Do you have another child? Tattling is common among siblings, it makes them feel good about themselves, let's them be in power. Few things that you can try to curb this are - 1. Always lend your ear to him. 2. Be Impartial 3. Have alternates like encouraging your child to speak out when there is a genuine fight with other kids..let him express himself 4. Allow him.to settle his disputes himself.. Hope you will.find these useful! @5fcc57acb0bd2f004606c655 @63713f4617d2c800158d383d
