I take insulin for my GD , I visit my diabetoligist 2 weeks once and in my last visit he increased my dosage to 14 units before BF and 8 units before dinner, I do my sugar test with glucometer 2 days once and I'm noticing its decreased a lot it's always less than 100 (the target given to me was less than 125) . Is this sudden decrease okay? Or should I visit my diabetoligist? He asked me to come only if I have giddiness or sweat which I don't have. Bit tensed now. @Dr Shilpitha Singh@Dr.Dhanya Prajesh

If d sugars are persistently low ..like less tan 100 then the babies wil be lesser..so u may hv to reduce the dosage...pls c d doctor...to taper d dosage..eat healthy but..don cut ur food..but keep ur sugar intake less..

Please visit him again and may be the units of insulin get decrease.. because the random decrease in sugar level is not good to both of you.. and waiting for the symptoms like giddiness or sweat is not worth enough.. better to get an opinion as you are already entering to the term gestation..
