I visited a gynecologist three months back and she after some tests detected that I have a low AMH as compared to my age. I am 28 and my AMH is 1.3, she put me on some medications and now I am going to follow up with another Gynecologist as I am going to start trying conceiving. But I am a very scared as my last gynac had told that I may not b able to conceive naturally and may have to consider IVF. Anyone has had similar situations?

Hello..<br>
Anti-Mullerian Hormone, or 'AMH' as it is often called, is a hormone which is given off by developing follicles, which are egg sacs containing immature eggs. By measuring this with a blood test, it gives an idea of the state of ovarian reserve and how many eggs are left in the ovaries. Low AMH level suggests that women's ovarian reserve is rapidly declining and they must immediately seek fertility treatment.. your doctor was right, less chances of natural one, IVF is a good option..
