I often wonder how tricky parenting is. We want our kids to be independent, yet we don't want to leave them alone. We want them to be prepared for life, yet we don't want them to face any crisis ever. We want to give wings to their ambitions, yet we don't want them to fly far away from home.

Sometimes, I think how my life would my twins will grow up. Right now my entire life revolves around them and theirs around me. But what will happen when they will move out to have a life of their own. Will it be easy to let them go and be on their own?

But then I constantly remind myself that's what parenting is about. That's what life is about. We need to prepare kids for life and then set them free. And as the time comes, we'll eventually learn how to do so. Our parents did and so would we.
The only thing probably we need to let them know is - ;no matter where they go, what they do or how far they stay- we shall always be there for them and they shall always be there for us. That's all that matters, right? #parentingstories #themomsagas #parentinglessons
