Pressure in the pelvic area should be checked by the doctor. Pain in the pelvic and ground area especially while lying down and turning is due to pubis bone dysfunction. It affects about ten to fifteen percent of pregnant moms. The pelvis bones spread or stretch a little more than expected and this causes the discomfort. Please discuss with your doctor. It is suggested that you meet with a pregnancy exercise specialist who can help you with exercises to strengthen the area.
