Footwear is best kept flat. Additionally, exercise only if have been exercising earlier. Else walking is a good substitute.

Unless the pain is consistent and restricts you, it's okay. But talk to doc if it gets too much. Avoid sitting OR standing for long hours at a stretch.

It will get better don't worry. If you are a non vegetarian eat eggs, mutton bones soups, chicken bone soups etc.
