I wanted to share my experience.<br>
For the first child when she was suffering with cold paed prescribed the saline water spray small bottle as well and asked me to spray it before offering the bm.( It easily available in the medical and no side effects, even adults can also use it). It clears the nose and babies can breath with their nose while drinking bm. This time's paed (new as we shifted to some other place) not mentioned anything like this and i also forgot. And this happened. Almost 2-3 days baby was afraid to take bm. Now baby is fine and taking bm. Thanks Kavita for your suggestions. it helped.
So please please please request all mothers to use saline water nasal spray just before bm session if baby is suffering with cold, stuffy nose.

Don't worry .. try pumping and giving or just so it while tslking to him n diverting his mind n try breastfeeding... Hope you have started solids too .

I'm really worried. My son (11 months) was taking breast milk property before he was having cold 2 days before . While he was having cold i offered breast milk. But he was not able to take it because he couldn't breathe. Now even after he is ok.. he is not coming close to me to have milk.. not even ready to seat on my lap.

He does come to me but not when i take sitting position to offer milk to him. He starts crying when i put him on my lap. Please guide what to do . How long small babies have memory and remember such things. I also have tried when he was asleep. But no use.. he immediately started crying.

I don't want to stop bm. Really worried...
