question
I'm trying to stop breastfeed my 14 month old. At times she wakes up in the middle of the night and gets cranky/hungry. I used to breastfeed to calm her down and put to sleep. Now that I'm trying to stop it, any recommendations or suggestions on what to feed/make her sleep?
Note: I'm not giving cow's milk yet.

Sathya<br> Patience is what is required while weaning off the breast. Gradually reduce the number of feeds n most importantly the time of per feed, jus a quick five minute feed that's it.... This one is harsh but works for the most mommies, during the breast feeding time of the day you need some how managed to disappear out of the baby's eyes, they may cry their heart our jus a day r two she may quit it, try it as last option. The hard duck method. You can also try to distract her making her watch some rhymes, sing along or get her the favourite sippy cups and start weaning off the breast

Hi Satya. Usually after a year baby can sleep through night. Make sure to fill baby tummy during day time by feeding her 5 to 6 meals. After this also still she wakes up means due to remembrance but it LL go away after 2 or 3 days . Still she s crying means you can give cow's milk.

Sathya sailing in the same boat, though I give little cow milk, I dont see any difference. Google Jay Gordon's method of weaning, I'm following.
