On one hand as we welcome the rains so joyfully, on the other we crib about how we are tied up at homes. Our outdoor exercise/ gym workouts get affected. Due to incessant rains and the associated traffic craziness, we prefer staying indoors! Don't crib or be disheartened anymore! Here are few workout ideas for the gym freak mommies on those days when you are unable to go outdoors: 1) Push ups 2) Planks 3) Squats 4) Lunges 5) Yoga 6) Zumba/Aerobics 7) Running & Jumping around with kids (on a lighter note) All these exercises done together for 45-60 mins a day is helpful to burn calories, remain fit as well as maintain your energy levels on gloomy wet days!
Ps- Don't forget to use proper shoes and other accessories such as yoga mat, etc. Also remember to do STRETCHING before and after the exercises !
