Potato filling
Potatoes boiled 3 peeled and mashed

Onion 1

Oil 2 tbsp

Cumin seeds 1/2tsp

Green chillies finely chopped 2

Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp

Coriander leaves

Green peas 2 tbsp

Red chilli powder 1tsp

Haldi powder 1/2 tsp

salt to taste

Garam masala 1tsp

Lemon juice 1/2tsp

chaat masala; pinch
Frozen puff pastry 6

Method
For the filling

Heat oil in a pan.Add the cumin seeds to the hot oil.Once the cumin seeds stop crackling, add the onions and fry till they turn translucent.Add the ginger garlic paste. Sauté for a minute. Add the green chillies and sauté for a few seconds.

Add the red chilli powder and haldi.add potato and peas mix well.Add in the salt and the garam masala and fry for a minute or two.Add the lemon juice and the coriander leaves and chaat masala.

Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool completely.
Preheat oven to 200c.Spoon the filling on the pastry and seal.Brush the tops of the closed pastry with milk or water. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 200c or till tops are brown. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
For puff pastry follow instructions for thawing on the packet
