Instant Veggie Idli with Punjabi Twist

My kiddo is such a fussy eater that I have to experiment new dishes with a lot of twists and turns. We Punjabis are known for eating but he is completely opposite of this. Some time he just doesn’t eat anything which makes me unhappy and crazy. SAD ME 😒

But you know we all are Supermoms with super natural powers, so we try to find something out of the box to solve our kid’s tantrums regarding eating. Isn’t it? So, this Instant Veggie Idli Recipe with Punjabi twist is one of my own creations and trust me you will not find this on Google.

And to my horror whenever I give this to my little one in the tiffin, it’s all FINISHED. HAPPY ME 🥳

Here is the recipe of South Indian dish -Instant Veggie Idli with Punjabi Twist:

Ingredients-
• Curd
• Suji (Semolina) (100 gms)
• Eno
• Carrot
• Capsicum
• Salt

Method of Preparation:

- Take suji (semolina) in a bowl and add curd till it get into a paste form.

- Chop capsicum and carrot very finely. Now add these veggies into suji and curd paste. Mix them well.

- Add pinch of Eno and salt (as per taste) into it. Mix the mixture thoroughly.

- Take Idli fry pan (see in the creative what kind of pan will be used). Put it on sim flame. Do the oiling of each box of pan.

- Then pour the above made mixture into each box of pan.

- Cover the pan. Put the gas on sim till 3 minutes.

- Then after 3 minutes open the cover and make idlis upside down so that it gets roasted (golden brown in color after roasting) from both the sides.

- Then keep it on sim till 3 minutes. Open the cover and the dish is ready to serve.

Hope you and your little one will relish its taste. Do try it and don’t forget to tell me your valuable comments. You can also courier the dish to me 😛

P.S. Serve it with green chutney to have more mouth-watering experience.
