Iron is absorbed better with the presence of vitamin C. Do remember to add a dash of lemon to that iron rich palak soup. However important to know that Vitamin C tends to die when heated so always add lemon to soups or daals after it is lukewarm

Yes the absorption of iron will improve if you take it with orange or lemon juice. I used to have it with Amla juice. Amla is the richest source of vitamin C. You can have the iron supplement later but have it with a juice rich in vitamin <u>C</u>

I have my Iron tablet after breakfast say around 9 or 9.30 and orange/mousambi juice by 11 am. Can I take iron tablet bit late? along with&nbsp; Orange juice?
