Yes, massage is really good for baby as it will make your baby relieved. Baby's body is still developing and massage will make their body flexible and strong. So massage daily, it doesn't matter if it's hot in there.

hi @6372c07b17d2c800158d8f33 I sightly differ on this view. I massaged my baby only in the first 3 months that too sparingly. Massages used to be done in the earlier days to prevent dehydration. Now even when the weather is hot, we live in houses with good ventilation and electricity to run fans, coolers or AC. Hence it's not necessary to give a massage everyday. Also what happens is, we use some oil generously to massage. Now to remove that oil, we need to use more soap. This can cause dryness of the skin. Instead what can be done is after giving a bath, you could massage the baby gently while applying moisturizer. This will also keep the baby's skin soft and moist. I spoke to my paediatrician at length after my daughter was born and realised that many things we do with the baby are not necessarily mandatory or beneficial per se. Use your discretion and see what is comfortable for your baby :-) My daughter was never for much of a massage any way. But again this is my view. You can also ask your paediatrician and then decide what you want to do. Tc!
