Is it NECESSARY to force feed the baby water with spoon and bowl? I am totally against this force feeding thing. My baby is comfortable drinking water by bottle when she wants to. She howls and yells when she is made to drink the water with spoon in lying down position. I want to know how others do it. I am yet to introduce her to a sipper. I hate when the elders at home make her drink forcefully till the point she screams in frustration

Do not force feed at all, it is wrong. Give her bottle, sipper anything she is comfortable with

Absolutely not necessary and it's very dangerous and choking hazzard to offer in lying down position. The water may go into lungs, Please stop that right away. And do not force feed anything, if the baby is on breastfeeding or formula milk then its enough. 7 months baby won't take much of water. Buy a straw bottle I use Phillips Avent for my daughter, initially they will not drink but they will learn. At home offer in small cup.
