Is it necessary to send babies below one year to day care??? Do they learn things in there???
I'm at a stage where my company has already given me extension of 4months n I have to report from Sept 1st. At home my mil not good in health to take care of him n I don't want a nanny to be with him.
Initially me n hubby had decided to keep him in day care near my office. But now he is discussing it with his colleagues n friends n they say we both are harsh n heartless to keep a 9month old baby in day care.
The only option if we don't keep him in day care is that I quit n be at home.
He is right in his concerns about keeping him in day care n I have my concerns in keeping him at home with nanny.
What could be the mid way.. m damn Confused..

Ya..It's not good to travel with baby in train..If u can't afford to extend your leave then keeping a nanny is a good option but do get CCTV cameras install..n make sure there should be some relative or any close relation who lives nearby your home to visit atleast 2-3 times and also get a police verification of the nanny or registered nanny..

Hi do not be harsh on you, As much as men need to work women should also. And nothing wrong in keeping the baby in daycare if there is no one to take care. I have lot of friends who did that, or hire a nanny if your mil can just supervise, with CCTV cameras installed.

Well I believe,no one can better take care of the baby other then parents. This is the time when they need utmost care. They are not going to remain babies forever. U can try one of thr following things:<br>
U can take further extension of 6 months as babies are our real possession or u can opt for a reputed day care near to your office as nowadays day cares are equipped with CCTV cameras so that u can have the live telecast of your baby activities.
