Is it required to take H1N1 (swine flue) vaccine in pregnancy?

Okay may be she felt it's must for you. Anyways don't worry about little cold n cough usually happens after vaccination.

Doc gave me vaccine after completed 7 months. I got cold and cough after that. :( I hope it's normal. I didn't want to doubt her so I didn't ask her if it is so much important like titanus or we can skip it. But now I am worried whether it was required or not.

Not required. Only if there is a threat in our; country or city we live; and this vaccine is given only after all the organs development. When I was 11 weeks pregnant there was a threat of swine flu and my doctor said only after complete organ development vaccine can be taken.. by the time I completed my 19 weeks the threat was also gone. I was asked to wash my hands now and then which I did.
