Is it true that the pre term babies do not have a good immunity as they grow up, if not breastfed? I have delivered a boy who is 1 week old and has issues in lactation and also I have very less milk production. M too worried that my baby will be deprived of the nutrients that his body needs in this situation. I feel very depressed. Please advise.

Hey dear babies who born early have less immunity when they are small but it's in your hands to make your baby stronger n it's possible just breastfeed your baby as much as possible n how much you feed your baby your milk supply also increases n also drink shatavari two times it helps to increase breastmilk n when your baby starts eating semi solids give lots of veggies mixed with rice n egg yolk to your baby don't worry your baby will be stronger...

I had twins born at 33 weeks. They were preterm and low birth weight. We did protect them feom any possible infection till they reach a decent ( birth) weight. Later we just let them be. My kids were alternately fed on bm and formula. They are 3.5 yrs now and i have not faced any immunity issue.<br>
U can have satavari granules or lactare tabs to help with bm. U can pump and store bm and feed then to you baby. Formula milk contains necessary nutrients so u need not worry about that.
