35th week should be fine.but you will have to take enough breaks while travelling.i had travelled on 34th week by consulting Dr.it was also 8hr journey by road.wasnt that hectic.But please consult Ur Dr before traveling.

Not really. In case labor strikes, you may be in trouble. Do you have a planned C-section date or did doc ask you to wait for labor?
