It's my 13th week in progress. Got my NTscan and Double Marker tests done yesterday. I got NT scan; reports yesterday itself and report says normal. However the lab says that Double Marker Test reports will be given after 10days. What is that test required for and why does it takes 10days for reports? Any idea moms?
I got my report after a week. It depends from lab to lab. Nothing to worry about. 10 days is on a higher side just in case.

Double Marker test is done to detect any genetic abnormalities specifically related to Down's Syndrome which is a form of retardation in the child. It is a routine test done.

We got all reports second day itself <br>
I think the lab might be sending the samples somewhere else for tests .

It takes only 2 days for reports ,<br>
Dnt have any idea why they asked for 10 days.and this is the requirement of this <u>tests</u><br>
