If I’m being told “you’re not doing enough” “you’re not good enough” that internal voice of mine will start to repeat “I’m not doing enough.” “I’m not good enough.”

We’ve all been there.

It is up to us as mindful adults, mindful parents, guardians, or teachers to become aware of our words and the weight they hold.

How do you want the children in your lives to talk to themselves?
Personally I’d want them to think that they are loved, they are smart and kind and unique in the best possible way. 💞

We’d want them to think their emotions are okay and valid. It’s okay to be sad!

How will they know those things if they’re not being taught those things?
