its very urgent experts and doctors my niece is suffering from t.b. doctor saying its begining so plz tell me whatshould we do in such situations? we are verymuch tensed?

Answer from a pedeatrician ( my hubby)- first thing is need no to panic, TB is treatable one.. first rule out how kid got the infection and need to blood test for family members too.. if they got positive even without symptoms tje treatment should be taken by them too.. treatment part- child will be treated with a combination of medicines, taken as a single tablet, for at least six months, as it takes that long for the bacteria to die. Your doctor will let you know how to give the medicine or tablet to child. Give the medicine to child every single day. Do not stop giving the medicine because she feels better. If she stops the course of treatment midway, she will have to start afresh. You will need to take child to the doctor regularly for check-ups during the course of treatment. If child has regularly taken her medicines for two weeks, she is not infectious and she can play with other children. TB does not spread through touching.
