question
Just read an article in TOI saying "in new parentin trend, kids being kept screen- free". What do u do to keep ur childoos screen free? Pls share ur list of things! #thetenyearold reads, makes slime, does art & craft with recyclable material from home, colours (not as much as i wud've liked) and sometimes plays board games. She still doesnt love needlwork so not pressurising.

This is apart from cycling downstairs and playing with kids downstairs. On sundays we try to walk on the beach and cook pasta together.

Wud love to hear and learn what u do!

Dear Asha, Looks like you have a lot of input here so I will not repeat ideas, but my main thing is do anything you want with your child, but keep screen time down to zero if possible. Your child will learn to use technology anyway, but doing things like playing board games, reading and just having fun will not happen unless you encourage it. Hope this helps!

In my current situation screen time is the only support I have. So I will reap the advantage of it for a few more months and then try to change.
