Khajoor And Til Swiss Roll

Ingredients

• 1 cup til (sesame seed) powder

• Sesame seeds for decoration

• 1/4 seedless khajoor (dates)

• 1/4 tsp ghee (clarified butter)

• 1/4 cup water

method

1. Dry roast white til in medium flame till they are aromatic, takes a minute or less.

2. Chop dates to small pieces and run them in a mixer once.

3. Heat ghee in a non stick pan and add dates. Sauté on a medium low flame till dates become soft and pulpy. It may take 4 -7 minutes depending on your quality of dates

4. Spread the dates mixture on plastic sheet and put another sheet above it and make thin roti shape structure.

5. In a pan take some water and sugar and boil til sugar was completely dissolved.

6. Now make til powder and mixture and add into sugar water and stir continuously till it leaves the surface of pan

7. Now spread the mixture on plastic sheer and put another sheet on it and roll into roti shape.

8. Now place the til roti shape on kajoor mixture and roll both the mixture together.

9. Allow the mixture to cool a bit. Divide into parts, rub little ghee to your palm and shape to cylindrical rolls.

10. Spread til and coconut powder in a plate and roll the sweet rolls ;so that the rolls get coated with it.Refrigerate or set aside for 1 -2 hours. Cut into slices.

11. Store them air tight containers .Dates and til swiss roll stays fresh for almost 3 weeks in room temperature. Enjoy !!
