Kids love to eat anything colourful and tasty. The other day I prepared this khichdi for my four year old daughter with a twist here and there.
I added vegetables like carrots, beans, beetroot along with the rice and dal. Added a bit of salt and turmeric powder to boil it. For the tadka I used ghee, curry leaves, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and Maggie masala. Our room was filled with this aroma and I knew that my experiment didn't go wrong at all.
I boiled an egg and cut it into small pieces and garnished the khidchi with it.
