Kids tantrum....

Yes, Mom's you read it right. Tantrum!!! It is such a dreadful situation for any parents when their kid starts with a tantrum. So here I am with some tips which have helped me handle a tantrum. Different age group kids need to be handled differently when they are upset.
Kids above 1year get irritated when they see new people, places or want something. They are also get irritated when they are hungry or when they need your attention. Firstly try to find the reason why your kid is upset. If it is hunger feed them.

Secondly, kids are upset when they want something. In such a situation, divert them. Yes, show them something else which is interesting or offer something to eat. Diversion is the key. Use this trick until they reach two years.
Once your baby completes two years diversion technique may not work always. Sometimes it does work and sometimes it does not. In such a situation, you need to stay clam. Because if you show anger their tantrum also increases. Be there with them and show them you love them in all the situations.
In a few situations not giving heed to their tantrums and continuing with what you are doing also helps to Calm them. For example, if your kid asks for extra chocolate and you don't want to give because you already have given them. You just tell them One per day. Still, your kid wants it. So he starts rolling on the floor. Don't worry keep calm. Let them do their thing and you do your thing. After some time they will notice you did not give importance for their tantrum. So they will come back to you.
As they grow bigger telling them repeatedly, giving different options and showing immense love help to handle their tantrum.

And as a parent, we know our kids well. Sometime none of these will work. And you as parents know what works best for your kid. Sometimes giving up for their tantrum is the only solution. It's ok. Every kid is different and every parent's parenting style is different.
At the end of the day, patience and love are key to successful parenting.
Lots of love....
