Be it induced lactation or Relactation, in both cases the first thing is to develop milk supply. It can be done by nipple stimulation by letting the baby nurse, pumping, stimulating and expressing by hand etc. In case of relactation, if the baby is younger (less than 6months old) it is easier to relactate. But if older, have patience and be determined because the breastmilk supply will develop by baby nursing at breast especially at night. If baby can latch then feed often, 2hourly. If the baby is not able to latch, then manually express or use breast pump to keep stimulating the breast. Remember to stimulate breast often because milk supply can be developed, but maintaining the supply is difficult.
