Children are not born good or bad.They need adults who will help them become caring,respectful n responsible at every stage of their childhood. It’s parents who must teach them to show gratitude to those who love n care for them & express thanks to those who contribute even in small ways. Make sure that your kid always addresses others respectfully,even when they’re tired, distracted, or angry. Teach them to be friendly-grateful with all the people in their daily lives,such as a driver,house maid,waiter & the nanny. Encourage them to care for those who are vulnerable,explain ur kid about poverty, hardships faced by underprivileged children and their struggle for basic needs; tell ur kids that they are blessed to have the things they have and to be grateful for the life they live, to be caring n giving, to talk to everyone with respect n humbleness; teach them not to judge people by their social status,spending capacity and by profession. Make sure they understand that no job is shameful or of low importance. Teach them to smile at the waiter, greet the doorkeeper & say thank you to the driver. Remember children learn ethical values by watching the actions of parents. If we want our children to be moral people,we have to raise them that way.
