leMy baby is 40days old. I have oversupply of milk and milk letdown is very fast. Hence baby will gulp the milk , sometimes cough in between and he will have gas problem, and each feeding session lasts for 5-10mins only. I have tried the scissor method to control the speed but ended up with sore nipples. Pleaset me know the solution for this problem. His pee count is 7-10 times a day and poop count is 2-3 times a day. Birth weight was 2.8kg. current weight 3.2kg

when the baby gulps in air while feeding, It happens because your little one is just learning the process of taking in food and sending it forward into the digestive system. Some babies might spit up only occasionally and others may spit up shortly after every feed. ..It will settle in few months .tc

Yes I do keep the baby in elevated position while feeding all the time. But doesn't help. He will be gulping, coughing all the time and spits a little after every feed. I am really worried.

Hi Keep the baby's head elevated with a support pillow. Lot of moms feel better doing this. Little elevation will make a big difference
