Let’s handle it!
This lil guy of mine is a music lover. If he finds music or any kind of an instrument , he gets lost!He shields away distraction like its nobody’s business and that’s perfectly ok with me.

But offlate, it’s become a real big nuisance when people just go on making him sing and dance to their tunes.Hez just a kid and he loves singing , but only when he is in his comfort zone.And people randomly take advantage of that fact and keep pestering him to go on and on. Be it in a car or while he is eating, be it at a party or while he is busy engaging himself in pretend play, there’s no Stopppp!!!

And to make things worse, if he doesn’t listen, they start discouraging and go on saying “he doesn’t know a thing or he has to get over his stage fright and blah blah”. I mean seriously, stage fright!! 😒

To all those who think that he has to be the way you want him to be, let me get this straight:
🗣You are not his conscious soul to say what’s right / wrong.
🗣You have no voice to master your demands over him coz he is a master of his own decisions.
🗣What he feels, what he does and when he wants to do is entirely upto him and no one has a say in it.

Here I am trying to set things and make him feel empowered and there go a few who totally are upsetting the routine. Wonder how long it will take for people to realize that he is just a child who needs support n motivation and not nagging and hurtful comments.

My only concern is that he may start hating what he is currently loving. Whew!!! That’s a mumma’s heart talking.

Is there a way to deal with this? Tried telling those people politely that he will do it at his will, but it just isn’t working. Have you faced anything like this, if so please share your views!
