Let’s talk about aunts..& Aunthood

Motherhood and fatherhood is all that we hear always..but there are other people too who are as dear as parents to our kids. They are neighbours, our friend’s kids, maid or nanny, grandparents etc. The one who is more close to Simra is her aunts. We sometimes forget to appreciate what our siblings do for our kids..obviously it is out of love and they adore them like their kids..isn’t it?

I don’t know where to start.. my sisters play a major role in Simra’s life. Both her aunts are dear and near to her heart. I do not bother much about Simra when they are with her. It is easier to ask them for help and in return they do even more...and it feels a sense of contentment being blessed with siblings.

From making her eat, play and sleep to changing her nappies..they never say no. In fact they’d do without me asking them to do. I love them more now not because they do so much for my little girl..it’s because I never imagined this side of them.I value them so much and happy that Simra loves them so much.

Siblings are a blessing..and when God has given them in the form of aunts..it’s more than a blessing. I’d dedicate this to Simra’s and all the aunts out there..we value your love and care🌸
