#littlechampslunch If you have a baby who refuses to eat the same food item two days in a row, I can empathise with you; we are on the same boat mommy! So I tried out this Carrot Rice for lunch and baby was quite happy. Here’s what went into it. Measurements are according to quantity of rice: Broken Brown Rice,
Carrot Grated,
Onion, finely chopped,
Lemon,
Ginger juice,
Turmeric,
Ghee,
Mustard. Method: Pressure cook the rice with a little lemon juice. In another pan, add a little bit of ghee. Splutter mustard seeds and then sauté the onions. Now add the grated carrot, ginger juice, turmeric and sauté. Add little water to cook the carrot. Add this gravy to the rice and reduce water to the consistency that your baby prefers. Make sure to mash it before feeding. Hope your baby enjoys it like my little champ did!
