If you have diabetes whether it is gestational or genetic or type 2 it should be monitored by the doctor. You should discuss your meal plans with a nutrition counselor who can help you mix and match foods and ensure that what you are eating does not cause spikes or drops in your sugar levels. Sudden spikes and drops can be harmful for the baby and hence your food and monitoring is a crucial aspects of your pregnancy care. Please do not follow random advice. Gestational diabetes will surely settle down and go away post birth but the others will continue. In terms of nausea please eat small meals and eat foods that suit you. You can suck on a small piece of ginger to help you feel better. Identify your triggers and stay away from them. We recommend a biscuit or toast but this is not so in your case. Keep some dry roasted rotis made with whole grain atta ready and have that every hour or so. If you cannot hold anything then discuss medications with the doctor.

Hello Juhee. Do you have gestational diabetes? When i was expecting I too had. It went away after delivery. Please avoid high sugar food. I would suggest you visit your doctor and discuss medication and diet.
