‘Mama are you responsible for everything that happens to your baby?’
Have you ever been made feel that you’re responsible for your baby’s situation & condition in every possible way, be it ill health, discipline & manners? Do you constantly battle with the same old thought that you didn’t do it...it just happened and you’re tired explaining it didn’t happen because of you. And then you end up taking it all on yourself. So then let me tell you, you’re not alone battling this as every mother on this earth goes through this!
Being a newbie mum is as difficult as anything else in this world and upon that you’re told so many things to follow which becomes difficult whom to understand, what to follow and what to do? Sometimes even you need space from these grandma tales & talks, don’t you? Because you wanna do what suits you & your baby at the same time.
It is important to understand that you’re never responsible for your baby’s ill health as you won’t harm your baby in any way..and you don’t need to explain that to anyone...agree? Also, babies and children are more intelligent in the first five years of age...they tend to grasp everything they see you do or anyone else does.
Coming to ill health and sickness is a part of the baby’s growth, it’s not always because you didn’t give a good diet or didn’t take care of her health etc. Falling sick is a growth milestone which generally occurs when your baby is trying to gain immunity from germs & getting ill is normal as long as it’s something serious to worry about.
You should stop taking the blame game on yourself because your mental health is vital for yourself and your little one. When you understand people will talk, talk and talk even if you’re doing good then life gets easier for you as it’s essential for your good health to take care of your children. So mommies please take care of yourself in order to take care of your offsprings!
You can listen and follow what people say & can even do if it’s good but in the end do you!
