Manging headaches the easy way
Headache is a common condition that is experienced in our day-to-day life. Be it due to dehydration, excess heat, excess screen time, stress, bad posture (curve in the spine), or a migraine. Where popping in over-the-counter medication isn’t always possible, especially during pregnancy, using natural and easy remedies is always a food option.
The one natural and easy way that we will be looking at is breathing yoga (Pranayama)
Practicing breathing exercises or pranayama is a good way to manage the pain caused by headaches. Breathing yoga (Pranayama) is an effective way to manage as well as get rid of mild to severe forms of headaches when done the right way.
While practicing pranayama it’s very important to make sure that the environment around you is calm, dark, and soothing with no disturbances to help to concentrate on your breathing. When one practices pranayama, it helps release the tension built in the muscles, balances the lobes of the brain, promotes oxygen supply to the brain, and improves spinal alignment.
So the next time you suffer from a headache just breathe your pain out with Pranayama.
