Happy independence day to all.
I'm a mom , I was thinking this independence day what is my resolution for our country. We were taught to love our country but rarely it was discussed how to love our country. Is singing national anthem , hoisting the flag to show love towards my country enough. Then what else?. I have my baby my family to take care. we think about our family and comfort of the members is our priority.
Now when I think of my son I feel being his mom it's my duty to save the environment, nature for him . Yes, if we all mom's contribute we can bring so many changes.it will be a big change to our nation.
Environment is getting polluted, major reason is the waste which we produce. In my small way what waste I can reduce ? Diapers, sanitary pads, disposable plastic covers, food waste etc. There are ways to reduce only if we try . Let's try as much as possible to use cloth diapers , cloth sanitary pads or reusable cups which save the nature. Let's use the materials which are biodegradable. Diapers are made up of some material which absorbs water and goes on till it's forms gel and doesn't get decompose.itll remain in the environmental for a long time as waste product.
sanitary pads and diapers are the major waste which goes to landfills and there it goes on absorbing water ,doesn't allow water to seep in and inturn help to increase the underwater.
I know it's not easy for working mom's to use cloth diapers it increases the laundry and increase the work at home. But atleast we can try reducing the usage. So that in someway we return something to our motherland for the future of the next generation.
Recycling and reusing possible things at home which will save money as well as the production of dangerous material to the environment.
Today being a working mother I have decided to change in my own way. If this post reaches and touches a few mom's like me maybe I feel I have done something to my country. Maybe this would give my child a safe and clean environment what I am enjoying now.
Let's reduce recycle and reuse.
