Meet The Soft Friendoos! #ChildooTales

Y'day between HW and other school stuff, while taking a break (she takes more breaks than actually doing something productive, but hey, life at 10 really rocks!) my childoo came up to me and said, "Mom, can I take out all my soft toys and put them on the guest room bed?"
I agreed immediately (rare for tiger mom!!) and since we're not expecting any guests soon I thought it would be nice to air and sun them out (goa monsoon mein sun is a bit ambitious....)

So I just happened to pass by and stopped to admire her collection! I've never been a huge fan of soft toys and not many of them have been bought by us. Lots have been gifted. But amazingly, I remember the story attached to each.

Pinky - the pink teddy bear in the blue and white dress was the first soft toy given to her when she was a few days old. We opened it much much later and for some reason, my childoo is STILL very attached to her!

There's Bruno the brown dog, the WWF pandas, a koala bear from oz who many a times finds his way near her pillow at night, ducky who sat on the table as her food buddy, lady bug who we've carried while travelling 'coz she fits so well in ini's little backpack, bunny from euro kids, the yellow angry bird which she won on her b'day from the games zone in the mall who took a lot of space on the bed! Penguin who is a hand puppet too and the rest of the gang!

We have some more at my mom's place and at my MIL's place. I have no idea how we collected so many soft friendoos!!! But they are a part of her world. She's given away some. As you can see, most are still around.
