A fun filled day for my kid and my family... #metimewithdoremon was indeed a Metime for all of us.
This event held on 25 May at Amanora Mall. We reached the venue a little after 6pm. The venue was lightly packed with equally excited families and their kids. I have to mention that families were as excited as kids.... My little one who was reluctant and skeptical was in fact thrilled to see that much added mystery to this whole event..
The event organizers were sending few people at a time at the first glance... Later it was made known it was 2 families at a time...
We were a family of four... My mom (as she's visiting us), my hubby, my kiddo, and I, we were let in to the first room (read level 1😄) and our opponents were a team (family of 9 members) the first task we had at hand was to create a map that would lead Nobita to Doremon.... We had 9 blocks in front of us we had to put these blocks together to complete the map... My boy was quick to his feet and we all helped him to complete the task.. To his dismay the other family competing with us completed the task before we did...
We moved on to next level.... Here Nobita has encountered a hungry bear he can only move forward if he feeds this bear... A bear cut out and a basket full of balls... Our task was to throw the balls into the bears mouth... I was gaping at the precision with which my kid and my mom managed to send 9 balls into the bears mouth!!!😯
We moved to the next level here we saw a glass pyramid and we were required to knock this pyramid down. What my husband and I couldn't achieve my son did... 😅 he managed to knockdown the pyramid with ease... 😅😅
As we finished our levels we were taken to the room where we could meet Doremon and he was announced as soon as we walked in.... Truthfully and honestly I was expecting a cheap character costume... But like they say "don't jump to conclusions ".. I was dumbfounded when Nobita walked in.... I couldn't help myself but squeal in delight... They were so like we see on TV... It was so........ Dreamy..... Nobita and Doremon were joined by Shizuka, Jiyaan, and Suniyo. I couldn't help myself as I joined along singing the title track... "jindagi savaar do.... " 😇😇😇😂😂😂😂 ....
I didn't realise I was enjoying so much that I became a kid myself.. .. My son was smirking at me when he heard me sing along...😅😅
I must say it was an evening well spent and I have to thank Priya Sood to make this happen.... Thanks Priya for giving me that 2hrs to find the child in me... #metimewithDoremon
