Mine was a posterior placenta with grade-0 during the scan at 21st weeks, recently I got transfered to Pune just before 15days... travelled by flight as per my Dr advice...( I do updown of about 3 to 4 hours everyday for office ). Here in Pune I consulted new gynec, she asked me to go through the 4D scan and repeat suger , thyroid n urine tests.... I repeated the tests n gone through the 4D ... as per her my all reports are normal... but now according 4D scan my placenta is low lying... as per her I have to avoid travelling n take much rest... I have to travel on coming Thursday .. but when I told her about travelling she permitted me to travel by flight not by train.. m confused now ,,, my questions are 1) can I travel by flight on coming Thursday? 2) Do I need to take complete bed rest as my placenta is low lying ?? 3) as per my new doctor my placenta position changed bcoz I travelled much in these 15 days... is it true ?? and if it's true then how I will travel on Thursday ???

Usually the placenta is low lying and then it migrates up... It's not the other way round.. So one of your scans is incorrect most likely the first one... Still it's a lowlying placenta and not covering the os even partially... Hence your chances of bleeding are extremely low and most likely it would migrate up...so don't worry.. You can travel if it's a must...
Hope You'll be feeling better when you return to hometown sneha!Take Care dear!
