Ingredients :
1 cup semolina (rava or sooji)
1 tsp garam masala
1 small carrot, grated
1 tbsp ghee
2 tsp mustard seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
2 carrots, finely grated
Preparation :
Mix all the ingredients except fruit salt in a bowl and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
Boil some water in an idli steamer. Grease the idli moulds.
Once the steamer is ready ,mix well and pour into the moulds immediately.
Steam the idlis for 10 minutes or till done. When cool, unmould the idlis.
Heat oil in a kadai, add onions and saute till brown.
Add the carrots and stir fry.
Your mini idli fry is ready
Note: Breastfeeding is advised until 12 months and beyond as it is a rich source of nutrients for the baby
