Baby S crossed over the balcony sill today and moved into the balcony. The balcony is her fav spot but dunno why she never attempted to move to the other side. And i never encouraged it because lot of plants are kept there. But today her toy fell on the other side and in a swift motion she crawled over the half a feet high sill.
I was watching her with a smile. Another milestone achieved. Another corner to be made baby safe.
But somewhere my heart missed a beat. My little child crossed an obstacle (of course I was happy) but without needing me at all. To be honest, her reduced dependency (if i can actually say this coz its way too early) scared me. Slowly she will grow up and one day would fly off to build her own nest.
Oh please! Someone stop the time. I dont want to move a single second ahead.
