I really don't know you people would like it or not but I thought of sharing it 😁
So the recipe is called THALIPEETH in Marathi and basically it looks like a pancake which is indeed the powerhouse of all the nutrition.
BASIC INGREDIENTS: Wheat floor 1 cup
Jowar floor 1/2 cup
Besan floor 1/4 cup
Salt as per taste
Finely chopped green chilly 1 TS
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Turmeric 1/2 TS
Grinded garlic cloves 5-6
Coarsely grinded cumin seeds and sesame seeds 1 TS
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:
You can add any veggies to make it specific like:
*Methi
* Grated bottleguard
* Coriander more than stated above
* Onions
METHOD:
* Mix all the floors first.
*Add remaining ingredients and mix well
* Add water to make a pliable dough
* Knead it, cover it with wet cloth and leave for 15 minutes.
* Now take the wet cloth, take a small dough and flatten into a circle on the cloth.
* Make few holes on the flattened dough.
*Apply little oil on the upper side and invert it on the hot pan.
* Remove the cloth when the dough stick to the pan and apply little oil to the new upper side as well.
* Fry on medium heat by adding ghee till it becomes golden brown.
Tips:
If the cloth thing seems to be complicated you can just invert the flattened dough on your hand and place it on the hot pan..
You can always add extra sesame seeds when it goes to the pan...
It can be served with pickles, ghee or curd.
