#recipes#postdelivery Today i will share some traditional recipes which will help new moms after delivery to recover fast. My mom made these for me when I was pregnant after my delivery I had everyday.These are traditional dishes which is made by my grandmother is now pass on to my; mother. 1)PANJIRI Ingredients
Semolina – 1/2 kg
Ghee;– 1/2 kg
Jaggery – 1 kg
Kamarkas – 50 g
Gond – 100 gm
Almond – 250 gm
Pistachio;– 250 gm
Char Magaz – 50 gm
Raisins – 50 gm
Desiccated;coconut;– 1/2 cup
Dry ginger – 1 tsp
Green;cardamom;– 1 tsp
Water – 1/4 cup Direction Take a pan add jaggery , half;ghee;and water, cook until jaggery;dissolves.Take another pan, add remaining;ghee;and;fry semolina with;cardamom;until it’s golden brown.Fry;pistachio, almond and raisins in 2 tbsp of;ghee, then grind;coarsely.Fry gum in separate pan and grind.Now take a big sized bowl, and add fried semolina, ground nuts, ground gum, raisins and dry ginger, mix well.Then add syrup and mix well.Keep in;clean;and dry jar.Enjoy this panjiri. 2)Harira Ingredients:
ghee 2 tbsp
almonds; 1 tsp grated
pistachio nuts; 1 tsp grated
walnuts; 1 tsp grated
cashew nuts; 1 tsp grated
carom seeds;(ajwain)¼ tsp
turmeric powder; ¼ tsp
powdered sugar or jaggery;1 tsp powdered edible gum crystals;(gondh)¼ cup
powdered musk melon, watermelon and pumpkin seeds;(magaz) 1 cup
powdered cardamom (elaichi) ½ tsp
water 1 glass
Direction
Heat the;ghee;in a pan and add the carom seeds. When the seeds start spluttering add all the dry fruits and seeds;(magaz). Stir until the nuts and seeds turn light brown.; Next, sprinkle the powdered gum crystals into the pan and keep stirring until the crystals puff up and the spluttering stops.; Add turmeric powder to the mixture and stir well. Add in water and sugar (or grated jaggery), and bring the mixture to a boil.; Let the mixture cook on a low flame for a few minutes until the;ghee;starts separating. At this point the mixture should look like a thick syrup. Remove from the flame and pour into a bowl and garnish it with cardamom powder. Serve warm. ;
3)Gondh ke Ladoo Ingredients:
Gond / Edible Gum Ladoo - 125 Gram
Dry Dates(Powdered) - 500 Grams
Dry Coconut (Grated) -500Gram
Jaggery(Grated or finely chopped)- 500 Grams
Ghee - 500Grams
Almond - 125 Grams
Khuskhus- 50 Grams
Fennel Seeds - 50 Grams
Cardamom- 50 Grams
Fenugreek Seeds - 30Grams
Jaifal (Roughly crushed) - 1 Direction
Dry roast the following ingredients:Grated Coconut (Until colour starts changing to light brown), roughly crushed Jaifal, fenugreek seeds,fennel seeds,; Khuskhus,almond,cardamom. Add the above all dry roasted ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a fine or slightly coarse powder.
In a Kadhai add 1 tbsp of Ghee once it's hot add 1 tsp of Gondh and cook for 3-5 seconds or until the Gondh fluffs up. Remove in a big mixing bowl and keep aside.Repeat the same process for the rest of the Gondh. Make sure you dont add all the gond in the ghee at once, ;the Gond can remain uncooked in the middle.;
In the same kadai add 1 tbsp of Ghee. Once hot, add the jaggery and stir till the jaggery melts and starts showing bubbles. Turn of the flame.
Add this melted jaggery in the mixing bowl along with the Gondh.
Add all the dry roasted and blended powdered ingredients as well. Mix well till all the ingredients;are well incorporated with each other.Apply ghee on the palms and roll into round balls.;Store in a airtight container.

The laddoo is believed to speed up recovery and provide her with vital nutrients to regain her strength after delivering a child.
