3 Days...so much care and love 💓

As I compose this post, my eyes are tearing up, I don't know if the last three day have been the best or the worst... Thursday was the LS election in Bangalore, hubby and I prepared to wake up early and go to cast our vote and have our breakfast out. It got pretty late at polling station and finally at the restaurant for breakfast. It was almost 10:30am by the time we placed our order and 10:45am by the time we were served. Finally all done, we returned home, by then itself I was feeling quite uneasy. After lunch started the real nightmare.;

I was down with fever, when I woke up, I realised my back was hurting awfully. I was in pain and my head was reeling. I thought it was probably due to some seasonal thing. My husband ensured that I could rest for a lil longer while he cared for our boy.; He even ordered our dinner from out so I could get more rest.. I had dinner, still feeling uneasy and down with fever just went to sleep, only to wake up in the middle of the night feeling worse. Friday was no better, but my husband had some important meetings scheduled so he couldn't afford a leave. He left for work, but kept telling me that I should call him if I needed to. I had a idly along with my boy, we usually have breakfast together. That idly only added to my agony. I was in terrible state, with a hurting tummy, reeling head and aching back I pulled up made my son's lunch.;

Aarav asked me serve his lunch and insisted in having it in the toy room (3rd bedroom converted into a special play room). I was in terrible pain and just screamed out saying "why don't you listen, we'll go there and then in resent agreed for the toy room. My poor boy walked into his toy room with the bowl of food and kept saying "mom , you go and lie down, I will eat my food." I hurt him and me both of us, I walked back to him, hugged him, just let my pain be and fed him his lunch. Since then the next two days my husband was taking care of both of us. While my husband pampered and cared for me like a baby... My son Aarav too, left no stone unturned in caring for me. He kept walking up to me and asking me how I felt, if I needed something, if I was comfortable or I needed a blanket.;

So much love in him and care in his lil eyes, his tiny hands rubbing my forehead gently making me feel awesome. My eyes teared up each time, he walked to me and asked "Mumma are you fine?? Do you want to soda??" He still doesn't know to say "have". What else could I ask for !! Both father and son were on toes stroking and caressing me the whole time.;

Saumya Pillai one of our mom 🌟 is personally in touch with me. She too was concerned and kept calling me, asking me about my health and Aarav. Couldn't ask for more...so much love and care can just make anything work for the better...
