As I have told you earlier in my post it was not easy to take care of LBW(low birth weight) baby.
I am going to share Challenges i faced, joys of upbringing baby alone and some tips I learned from Navya in my parenting experience till now.
Challenges Faced:
Due to navya's low weight, feeding was the first issue. For her timely weight gain with good health, we need to start on Formula feed along with Breastfeed. Got many taunts from inlaws for it, but I dint listen to anyone and keep on following doc's advice timely.
After her 3 months, I came back to Pune where I was alone the whole day with baby as hubby went office in morning and used to come back by night.
First year for LBW babies is very crucial due to high risk of any diseases in comparison to healthy weight babies. Maintaing a proper hygiene, not to take baby outside much, protect from people touching baby, not to kiss baby for atlst first four to five months😠 . By god's grace the year passed away smoothly with baby good health.
Joys of taking care of baby alone:
1. You get plenty of time alone to bond with the baby.
2. Take care of the baby the way you want and the way its good for baby without much interference of inlaws(specially my mil)😝
3. Get to play your childhood again with the baby.
Tips/Things which I learned from Navya in my parenting experience:
1. Patience- Taking care of baby alone needs a lot of patience, effort and stress free mind.
2. Time Management.
3. Multi tasking- Being a SAHM i have to take care of house and baby both.
4. Sense of Responsibilty.
5. Focus on things which really matters.
6. Makes you more socialize.
7. Creates a new person in you with a total different attitude towards life. How many of you moms have manage baby alone? I would love if you share your tips with us here!!
