#MommyTakeOver - Post THREE
When I was in school I was a total tomboy. Donning a boycut hair and playing all sorts of games be it basketball or baseball or athletics was my forte. I could beat even a boy in the games that I played I used to be so well. But apart from being good at sports I have also been a bright student all my life. I have been a school prefect, basketball team captain, hostel prefect, and college team captain too.

.

I was preparing for medical entrance examination but couldn't crack it up. Always fell short for some ranks and ended up getting to a veterinary college but chose Agriculture instead. I have made my parents proud on several occasions be it elocution competition, quiz competition, drawing competition but when I graduated in Agriculture with a university gold medal it has been the most I could do to make them proud. At least I thought it that way.

.

I had aimed for being a post graduate in MBA. I worked a lot for it, cleared XAT with a good percentile and got admitted to a good institute for HR. But life had other plans for me.

.

And when I was of the idea that nothing more could make my parents proud further, just after 15 days into my MBA programme I got the news that I had cleared the top examination in Agriculture with AIR 3 for entering into the most premier institute for Agriculture where I only dreamt to be. I gladly left my MBA and moved to New Delhi to get enrolled in M.Sc. Environmental Sciences. It was like a dream come true.

.

That was definitely a turning point in my life. I completed my M.Sc. then my Ph.D. from there and spent 7 precious years of my life in Delhi. I got to make many friends, meet people not just from different states but also from so many different countries.

.

But little did I know an even bigger turning point in my life was about to take place. It was when I was pursuing my Ph.D. that Mr. Husband came with his marriage proposal. Wanna know about our love story? Stay hooked for my next post 🤗
